Chris Nova is an up and coming photography artist who is focused on capturing the eclectic beauty of the skylines and streets of New York City. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York in the 1980’s, his passion developed through photographing the creative style of graffiti art and lifestyles native only to NYC. Through the years, along with photography, Chris also showcased his talent and passion for the visual arts through drawing, painting and fashion designing.
In 2015, Chris began to collaborate with other NYC photographers who captured Cityscapes, Aerials and Portraiture from a new and innovative lens. His work has been featured on COMPLEX, HYPEBEAST, Elle Decor, The Real Deal Magazine, W Hotel, LA Magazine, HappySocks Good Day NY, Fox 5, ABC 7, NBC, the NY Post, the Daily News, Washington Post and other popular fashion and media outlets. His aerial shots of the iconic Empire State Building and Times Square were shared through their "official" social media sites where it quickly went viral. Most recently, Chris teamed up with the Brick Lane Gallery in London U.K for his first successful Photography Art exhibition. His professional work has also been recognized by the Commercial Real Estate Giant, CBRE and won Urban Photographer of the Year. Chris is also an Aerial Workshop instructor for Wings Air Helicopters, based in Harrison, NY.
Impressed by his progressive approach and vivid color style, Chris is now traveling and connecting with some well-known artists and is currently working on exhibiting his work in New York, Los Angeles and Miami.
